GUEST INFORMATION:

Some members of our family wear suits and ties to church. Some members of our family wears lacks or nice jeans. Some of our international visitors are comfortable wearing dress clothes appropriate for their own culture. We only ask that you dress modestly when you come to church.

Many of our family are Americans but we also are blessed with a large number of people from other nations. The largest group are Germans but we also welcome regular visitors from England, India, Poland, several African countries, and Hungary. To name just a few of the countries our family call home.

With Heidelberg's University and the diverse work culture in our area some people join us for a few weeks while others stay for years.

We begin our various Sunday morning classes at 09:45. We offer Sunday school classes for children (grouped by age), youth and adults. Find out more under the Family Ministries link.

If you have children that are still too young to be left in the nursery you are more than welcome to bring them with you to class.

We will have a brief period of fellowship and refreshments before we begin the next part of our Sunday morning. We have refreshments in the outer room near where the children are in class. There are information tables set up to give you additional information about the different ministries that we have for children and adults.

We begin our service at 11:00. If you have very young children that you want to keep with you, we have a crying room at the back of the sanctuary where you can listen to the service and watch through the glass walls.

We start every service with Songs of Preparation, followed by a welcome, announcements and a time to greet each other and make visitors feel welcome. You will be asked to fill out a visitors card to place in the offering plate towards the end of the service. This will allow us to thank you for attending our church. If you choose not to let us know you that you visited then you will not be contacted. But we hope you return and experience our church again.

We then have period of praise and worship. We sing a mixture of modern Christian music that you may have heard on the radio as well as traditional hymns. You are welcome to sing and worship or simply listen.

The speaker will then teach a message from the Bible. We believe the Bible is God's word to us and it is accurate and true. We promise you will learn a lot and you will feel strengthened by the message preached.

At the end of the service we will give our tithes and offerings to God. As our guest please do not feel pressured to give.

After a benedicton and a moment of silent reflection our service is dismissed. You are welcome to spend as much time as you like talking and enjoying the company of other Christian people who love and worship God.

We hope that you will be blessed by visiting our church.

We are a member of the International Baptist Convention.
