NEW !!! Ministry Opportunity !! The number of singles in our membership is growing. What a great blessing ! We see the potential need for a singles ministry in the church. If any of our members would like to serve by establishing such a ministry, please speak to Pastor David Walker. Women of Grace Kickoff - Saturday September 12th 10am-1pm. Come learn what Women of Grace is all about. Our theme is 'Portrait of a Woman use By God" All women are invited to attend. There will be a short message, food and a craft. Come learn what Women of Grace is all about ! If you have any questions, please talk to Kourtney Austin or email at hismrs.austin@gmail.com Mission Trip to Poland - October 8-12. We will be serving at Elim Christian Center in Poland. There will be a sign up sheet posted on the bulletin board. Additional details, as they become available, will be posted or announced by Pastor Dave. Everyone is encouraged to participate ! You do not have to be a member to serve on this mission. Ongoing - Calling New Worship Team Members: Anyone interested in singing, playing or running the sound board with the Sunday morning worship team? We would love for you to join us. Please contact Tom Scholtens. Ongoing - Prayer Requests: The Prayer Team prays every Sunday evening at 1830. Join us in prayer in the "Throne room of God" in the Holy of Holiest" or you can choose to remain in the outer court and give/send us your various requests either personally before or after worship, or through e-mail to udo-schiesl@t-online.de, or by placing your prayer request into the prayer request container on the prayer table next to the crying room. Ongoing - E-mail lists: GIBC maintains two e-mail groups. One for our members and ministry associates that is used frequently and another that includes our members, ministry associates and regular attenders that is used to communicate information we feel is of intrest beyond our GIBC membership. If you are a regulare attender and would like to be included in this second e-mail group, please give us your e-mail address on the address list located on the the bulletin board between the Worship Center and Fellowship Commons. CHURCH DIRECTORIES During this busy PCS season we have many family members who have their addresses listed on the Members Pages. If you would like your new information moved to the Alumni Pages after you move, please contact Pastor Walker and we will keep your account active for 60 days while you get settled and give us your updated information. After 60 days your account will be turned off if we do not hear from you. Thank you! GRACE GROUPS If you are thirsting for fellowship throughout the week, check out one of our Grace Groups. Grace Groups meet once a week for fellowship and for learning more of God's Word in a relaxing and comfortable environment. We have groups that meet on Wednesday and Thursday evenings.
POST-IT NEEDS BOARD Do you have a need? Post it on the "Post-it Needs Board" out in the commons. Would you like to fulfill a need? Take down one of the cards posted and bring the item ot the church or Pastor Walker's office. Experience God's blessing both ways! |
